Dalkia acquires Edison Next's activities in Poland, thereby strengthening the EDF group's presence in the country's energy transition markets

Dalkia Polska, a subsidiary of Dalkia and part of the EDF Group (Electricité de France), has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in two companies: Edison Next Poland and Edison Next Services Poland. This acquisition, representing a turnover of nearly €100 million, reinforces Dalkia’s position in Poland, confirming the country as its second-largest strategic market outside of France.

This intra-group transaction is part of the EDF Group's strategy to consolidate its energy services in Poland under the sole Dalkia brand. Dalkia Polska has been present on the Polish market since 2014. It operates in the field of heat production and distribution in the Silesian-Dąbrowa agglomeration and supports the energy transition in the industrial and district heating sectors.

The acquired companies offer comprehensive energy services for industry. Their specialities include: maintenance and management of energy infrastructure, implementation and financing of energy efficiency improvement projects and the deployment of green technologies (including renewable energy and decarbonisation solutions). The Edison Next Poland companies operate in Tychy, Bielsko-Biała, Rzeszów, Krosno and Zawiercie.

Thanks to this transaction, Dalkia consolidates its position on the Polish market, where we remain committed to our long-term development plans. We are pleased to welcome our new colleagues. We are convinced that by…
