Dalkia strengthens its expertise in electrical engineering with the acquisition of KSB Service EITB Sitelec

On 2 December 2020, Dalkia acquired the shares of the French company KSB Service EITB Sitelec, based in Montfavet (Avignon). By joining the group, the company takes the name Dalkia EITB, EDF Group.

KSB Service EITB Sitelec is a company specialising in the maintenance and renovation of electrical equipment (high-voltage substations and transformers, alternators and rotating machines). Operating at sites throughout France, it has had a varied portfolio of industrial customers for more than seventy years, employs around fifty people and has a turnover of around ten million Euros. The company is now one of the major players in transformer maintenance, capitalising on a recent workshop that enables it to work on the most demanding operations.

The acquisition of KSB Service EITB Sitelec strengthens Dalkia's know-how in electrical engineering. It will enable the group to continue to develop its activities in the field of high-voltage power dedicated to delivering energy performance to its customers, particularly in the industrial sector.

"I would like to welcome the KSB Service EITB Sitelec teams to the Dalkia Group. Their advanced skills in electrical engineering complement those of Dalkia and will enable us to expand the services we offer to our industrial customers. Electricity is a key part of energy transition and this acquisition further strengthens our commitment to supporting our customers in reducing their carbon emissions."

Sylvie Jéhanno, Dalkia Chairwoman & Chief Executive Officer

"It is with great pride that we join Dalkia. This is the beginning of a new era for us. The professionalism, expertise and responsiveness of the men and women in our company have been recognised. I’m sure they will be able to live up to the trust that Dalkia has placed in us and play a full part in the development of high-voltage activities."
