The Dalkia approach to smart buildings

Dalkia works with startups to design sensors and management systems like Haru and GreenMe. The data collected by these different sensors are fed into modelling programs that incorporate artificial intelligence systems to tailor energy supply to customer demand in real time. The result is smarter buildings.

We also use Building Information Modelling (BIM) to provide an interactive, collaborative 3D view of the building and related operations. This enables smart facility management to make buildings more efficient and less energy intensive.

  1. Connection solutions: Automated systems that have been preconfigured and standardised to manage building energy performance.
  2. Synapps: Energy performance management. The Dalkia Energy Savings Center (DESC) uses data provided by the building to model energy behaviour, such as energy consumption based on factors like weather and activity. It identifies scope for progress, responding in real time to any anomalies to ensure energy savings while maintaining comfort.
  3. Inviso: Energy reporting by Dalkia. This allows the building manager to track consumption while monitoring key indicators for performance and comfort.
  4. EnergyLive: Dynamic feedback on consumption and the environment allows occupants to track their use while enabling the building manager to pursue a participatory approach through energy coaching initiatives.
